Thursday, October 25: Noon – 3pm (Station Hollywood)

Friday, October 26: 9am-5pm (2nd Floor, Great Room Foyer)

Saturday, October 27: 9am-7pm (2nd Floor, Great Room Foyer)

Sunday, October 28: 10am-2pm (2nd Floor, Great Room Foyer)

 

Form of Payment Accepted:

HBFF accepts VISA, Mastercard, Discover and AMEX through PayPal. We also accept electronic checks (e-checks) in U.S. Dollars through PayPal, but you must set up a free PayPal account to use this option. We DO NOT accept paper checks.

  • Regular registration (September 4th through October 20th): $375
  • Late registration (after October 20th, purchase on-site): $450

HBFF INFOTAINMENT CONFERENCE PASS:

Includes admittance to Infotainment Conference only.

  • Early-bird registration (through September 3rd/Labor Day): $195
  • Regular registration (September 4th through October 20th): $250

ONE DAY PASS:

Includes admittance to Infotainment Conference Panels, Screenings and Evening Events for One Day Only.

Monologue Slam with Celebrity Casting Director Twinkie Byrd

Show off your acting skills by performing a 1 minute monologue of your choice in front of Twinkie Byrd and her panel of judges. (You will be stopped at the 1 minute mark!) Separate MONOLOGUE SLAM REGISTRATION required to audition. All festival-goers are welcome to watch for free, so bring friends and family. Seating will be first come, first serve and this event does pack the house! LIMITED to 20 AUDITIONS.  $30 Audition Fee.

 

2012 HBFF Pitchathon

Presented by Mozell Entertainment Group

A panel of seasoned writers, producers and executives discuss how to craft a compelling pitch in 30-60 seconds, how to excite and entice your listener in order to get them to want to read your script, and more.

Reserve your spot to pitch your project and receive feedback from the panel on how to make the pitch more sellable. Separate PITCHATHON REGISTRATION required to pitch. Festival attendees are welcome to come and watch for free.  LIMITED to 20 PITCHES. $30 Pitch Fee.

The Winner of the Pitchathon receives the following:

MOZELL ENTERTAINMENT GROUP will present a private reading of the script at 1010 Wilshire in front of a host of celebrity and high level guests (but it has to be cast by the writer).

MOZELL ENTERTAINMENT GROUP will give the writer $250 to help produce the reading.

-The reading will take place before December 1, 2012.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend for any reason, please inform us IN WRITING. We must receive your cancellation request by email no later than September 19, 2012. There will be a $50 non-refundable processing fee for all cancellations. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER SEPTEMBER 19, 2012. However, you may send a substitute or use the credit towards the 2013 event. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please send a cancellation request to: registration@hbff.org.

 

Tax Deduction

Festival expenses may be tax-deductible. Treasury regulation 1.1625 permits an income tax deduction for educational expenses (registration fees, cost of travel, meals, lodging) undertaken to (1) maintain or improve skills required in one’s employment, or (2) meet expense requirements of an employer.

 

Photo Release/Company Release

We occasionally use photographs or company names of HBFF attendees in our promotional materials. By virtue of your attendance, you automatically agree to usage of your likeness in such material.
