We have made a conscious effort to make your attendance during this national recession as economical as possible, without sacrificing the quality of the program and services we provide you. To that end, we have slightly reduced the cost of our festival passes.
HBFF will accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover and AMEX through PayPal. HBFF will accept electronic checks (e-checks) in U.S. Dollars through PayPal, but you must set up a free PayPal account to use this option. We are no longer accepting paper checks.

HBFF Pitch-A-Thon- $30: Sunday, October 30, 2011 / 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm
A panel of seasoned writers, producers and executives discuss how to craft a compelling pitch in 30-60 seconds, how to excite and entice your listener in order to get them to want to read your script, and more.
Festival attendees are welcome to come and watch for free. The registration fee ($30) reserves your spot to pitch your project and receive feedback from the panel on how to make the pitch more sellable.

Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend for any reason, please inform us IN WRITING. We must receive your cancellation request by email no later than September 20, 2011. There will be a $50 non-refundable processing fee for all cancellations. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER SEPTEMBER 20, 2011. However, you may send a substitute or use the credit towards the 2012 event. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please send a cancellation request to: registration@hbff.org.
Festival expenses may be tax-deductible. Treasury regulation 1.1625 permits an income tax deduction for educational expenses (registration fees, cost of travel, meals, lodging) undertaken to (1) maintain or improve skills required in one's employment, or (2) meet expense requirements of an employer.
We occasionally use photographs or company names of HBFF attendees in our promotional materials. By virtue of your attendance, you automatically agree to usage of your likeness in such material.
Unless otherwise noted, all Festival Tickets and Passes may be purchased online through October 30th, 2011. Tickets and Passes can be purchased on-site throughout the festival. Additional fees may apply to on-site sales.
