HOW TO ATTEND HBFF 2011
Purchasing HBFF Passes:
The Hollywood Black Film Festival strives to make make the festival better every year, and we hope you enjoy your time here. We have made a conscious effort to make your attendance during this national recession as economical as possible, without sacrificing the quality of the program and services we provide you. To that end, we have slightly reduced our pass fees from last year.
HBFF Festival Pass:
All Inclusive: Includes admittance to Opening and Closing Night Galas, Screenings, Infotainment Conference, and all Festival Parties. Best Value!
- - Early-bird registration(before September 3rd/Labor Day): $295
- - Regular registration (September 4th through October 20th): $350
- - On-site registration, (After October 20th): $450
HBFF Infotainment Conference Pass
Includes admittance to Infotainment Conference only.
- - Early-bird registration(before September 3rd/Labor Day): $195
- - Regular registration (September 4th through October 20th): $250
- - On-site registration, (After October 20th): $300
One Day Pass
Includes admittance to Infotainment Conference Panels, Screenings and Evening Events for One Day Only.
- - Friday, October 28th : $100
- - Saturday, October 29th : $100
- - Sunday, October 30th (Includes Closing Night Gala) : $150
HBFF Screening Pass
Includes admittance to all HBFF Screenings (except Opening and Closing Night): $175
Ala Carte
Infotainment Panels - $30 ea.

Opening Night Gala - $50 pp (Admittance to Opening Night Screening (TBA) & After-Party- Thursday, October 27, 2011)
Closing Night Gala - $50 pp (Admittance to Closing Night Screening (TBA) & After-Party- Sunday, October 30, 2011)
Individual Screening Ticket Prices (On sale October 1, 2011):*
- - $12 Adults
- - $9 Matinees before 4 pm
- - $9 Children (under 12), Students, Seniors and Military w/ID (you must present your ID when you pick up your tickets)
- *Individual screening ticket prices DO NOT include tickets to the opening and closing night gala which are sold separately.
Discounts
10% off to Students, Military & Senior Citizens. Please use the following codes in parentheses when finalizing your shopping cart to apply discount: Students (STU), Military (MIL), Senior (SEN). Your Student, Military or Senior I.D. will be required to pick up your pass during registration.
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend for any reason, please inform us IN WRITING. We must receive your cancellation letter no later than September 20, 2011. There will be a $50 non-refundable processing fee for all cancellations. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER SEPTEMBER 20, 2011. However, you may send a substitute or use the credit towards the 2012 event. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Tax Deduction
Festival expenses may be tax-deductible. Treasury regulation 1.1625 permits an income tax deduction for educational expenses (registration fees, cost of travel, meals, lodging) undertaken to (1) maintain or improve skills required in one's employment, or (2) meet expense requirements of an employer.
Photo Release/Company Release
We occasionally use photographs or company names of HBFF attendees in our promotional materials. By virtue of your attendance, you automatically agree to usage of your likeness in such material.

All Festival Tickets and Passes may be purchased online through October 20th, 2011. Tickets can be purchased on-site throughout the festival. Additional fees may apply to on-site sales.
